"What Would You Like To Do THIS Weekend? With So Many Choices - Metro Detroit is The Place to Be!"

2500 Club
2500 Park St., Detroit, Michigan; Tel. 313.962.9077
This place is a great place to catch a punk show. The bands inside this rustic retro club really wail. Graffiti rules in this “shack-like” environment and the music acts in this club sing straight from the heart. A lot of kids come into the club and scribble a homage to their favorite acts on the walls, (think The DAMNED, and THE CLASH). This is where we first caught Empty Arms and the legendary Metro Detroit rock idols, The Ruiners. Cash bar. Bring friends. Dress tough.

The Lager House
1254 Michigan Ave., Detroit, Michigan; Tel. 313.961.4668
This place is not just for St Patrick’s Day – it’s for the young at heart – a party for all seasons. You will like the stage which packs in powerful acts on the weekends. You will also like the long bar in the adjoining room where you can grab a cold one and chat up the locals. This place is a wicked hang. Check out the patio in the back complete with a chef and a tiki grill.

The food is actually really kick ass and it’s a great place to get some fresh air and take a break from all the hot live performances. Located in Corktown.

Toms Oyster Bar
318 S. Main, Royal Oak, Michigan; Tel. 248.541.1186
“Ain’t Nothing But a Detroit Party Going On” bellowed an impromptu rap/noise band on the rooftop stage of Toms Oyster Bar. The man speaketh the truth.  Now the bar downstairs is great – no question about it but make sure you check out the rooftop bar. This is THE place to get yourself some oyster “Shooters”. Sure, they’re tough to get down but they will make you feel manly.

The seafood fare here is excellent and worth checking out. But the really cool thing to do is to come here for the Detroit fireworks. I am not kidding, you can get a great view from the rooftop and believe it or not it is seriously under rated. We got a great table and caught a great show.

KINGDOM NIGHT CLUB
Detroit, Michigan

Located on Congress next to the famous St. Andrews Hall. This club used to house SPACE a few years back. Now this three level nightclub is back bigger than ever. This is one interesting place to say the least. You can get a full VIP treatment here complete with red velvet rope, bottle service and a lounge to kick back and enjoy the night.

The dance area is expansive and so is the elaborate sound system. Be prepared to wait in line because this is one popular place. There is a dress code so wear your best swag. This is a place to be seen at. Be sure to take note that there is a basement lounge too so you can actually kick back and visit with your party.

The staff here is really great and will cater to your every need. We shot an introduction video here in December and were impressed with the layout and all of the visual stimulation. The upstairs lounge has big beds where you can visit and get intimate with that certain someone.
